![]() ![]() ![]() Tell me how to turn off this constant checking of my valid software. When I pay money for software and follow all the rules, I expect the vendor to do the same. So why does it ask me to validate my copy every time I start Microsoft Office? Is is rather annoying and gives me more and more desire to dump the suite and move to an open source solution, like open office. If I click on Help->Activate product, I am notified that it is already activated. It passes validation when I run it against the Microsoft tools. It was in a sealed box with the prominent Microsoft logo and other markings. I bought it from the bookstore at the college where I was taking courses. ![]()
